Before buying, request the raw report, odor map, supported treatment range, flow and backwash data, drain and ventilation plan, chemical handling details, sample ports, maintenance schedule, consumable costs, warranty exclusions, and post-treatment test. Reject proposals that diagnose solely by smell or promise that removing odor makes the water safe. A good plan names the source uncertainty and explains how the next sample will reduce it.[2][6][7]
